CAST is the must-attend software testing conference of the year, but don’t take our word for it. Read what past CAST Alumni have had to say about it.
“I attended and presented last year, and if you want a conference that is more than just a lecture but instead is an interaction with practitioners, consultants and academics, this is the conference to attend. I learned so much last year attending session tracks, lightening talks, definitely the keynotes and generally networking in the evenings.
This is by far my favorite conference as everyone engaged is passionate about software testing. As the theme this year is “testing skills”, I’m super excited to be going with the opportunity again, to gain much more in a couple days than I could in a year of working at my job.”

“…I heard about CAST from a colleague who attended the conference the previous year in Seattle, and was hooked on what he said about it. Determined to go to the next one… when Toronto was confirmed… [i]t was time to see what all the buzz was about.
While attending a pre-conference tutorial on the first day, I quickly felt and understood what my colleague was referring to. It felt like a homecoming, with all my favorite testing relatives in attendance. Many long-lost cousins, relatives I didn’t know I had, and even close family members who I often stayed in touch with. Relatively speaking, of course. :)…”

“This year’s CAST2010 conference was once again amazing. It was great to visit with previous year’s attendees as well as meet new people. CAST is a unique, one of a kind conference. Everyone who is part of software testing industry should try to attend. One of the unique aspects of CAST is the nightly gathering of attendees to engage in discussions, puzzles, games and challenges. These discussions and challenges are a great learning experience and give new insights to both participants and observers….”

“… The short version: CAST is awesome, conference proceedings will soon be up at so you can see what you missed, you should go next year!…
…While the talks were interesting, the best part of every session was the facilitated conversations at their end. At least a third of every session was devoted to these discussions, and the CAST staff ensured that even the shyest introvert had a chance to talk without being steamrolled by the decidedly non-shy extroverts who always seem to dominate Q&A periods….”
