Cancellation Policy

A service fee of 15% of the processed registration fee will be deducted from refunds on canceled reservations.

Accommodations

Accommodation is available at the University of Toronto's 89 Chestnut Street facility. This is a university residence, with hotel-quality accommodation, in the centre of downtown Toronto. There will be free wireless internet access throughout the building for all conference attendees.

The hotel is steps away from Toronto's Old and New City Halls, the Eaton Centre, Yonge Street, and a short walk to the theatre district and trendy and fashionable Queen Street West. The city has an incomparable selection of dining options in the downtown area or in Toronto's dozens of ethnically focused neighbourhoods. Toronto is a great, safe city for walking, and is well-served by public transit. The Yonge and University subway lines are but a couple of blocks away from the hotel.

In order to keep prices low (as little as CAD$114 per night--unheard of for downtown Toronto) there are no televisions in the residence rooms, but there is a TV lounge on each floor. In any case, we'll all be busy conferring and enjoying the other things that city has to offer, so we won't have time for watching TV anyway—right?
